No Smoking

Anyone with psychiatric or drug problems ,wealthy or not, ends up at this hospital on a 3 day hold, before moving on to other hospitals.

On my first day working at this hospital, I was surprised to see how all the patients were addicted to cigarettes. Everyone here looks forward to their smoke breaks that includes nurse and doctors. There is a smoke break for 10 min on every hour of the day.

I was shocked to see how the some patients sold cigarette's for $1.00 a piece to wealthy inpatients. Some nurses bribed uncooperative patients into taking their medication by offering cigarettes. Worse yet, Chain smoking Doctors taking a some break every hour.

Are we taking care of those who are unstable or are we aiding them in their demise
